Ariana's promo for new song "thank u, next" appears to be based all around classic films, with the artwork for the single being based on a book from cult film "Mean Girls".

Grande, who memorializes Miller as an "angel" on the track, recently paid tribute to him online after a fan sent her a video of the late rapper listening to her song "R.E.M".

Even though there's no confirmation, it's nearly certainly Ariana's voice, although it's not known who's compiled the collection (i.e. a fan) or whether it's an official release.

"Thank u, next" is out now on the streaming services.

"Ariana Grande is a star on her own terms, never bending to any particular musical trend or path in the industry", Ross Scarano, Billboard's vp of content said.

Too Close was a bonus track on the Japanese version of My Everything. That whole presentation was fire, but she probably needed to clarify that exit a little better with DeGeneres.

Ariana Grande performed her latest single "thank u, next" for the first time on Ellen and her "First Wives Club" dance routine saw her nearly fall down.

On Saturday night, in a masterful bit of pop-cultural tabloid-manipulating theatre, Ariana Grande released her new single "thank u, next," a sort of affectionate kiss-off to her various famous exes.

She sings: 'Thought I'd end up with Sean, but it wasn't a match.

"Even nearly got married/And for Pete I'm so thankful/Wish I could say thank you to Malcolm/Cause he was an angel".

As yet, no-one can seem to find significance in the pseudonym Zandhr.
