Patrick Peterson asks Cardinals to trade him before deadline

SFollowing a report that Arizona Cardinals CB Patrick Peterson is interested in being traded to the New Orleans Saints, a new report has emerged indicating that there is interest from several big National Football League teams. Apparently, that team is the New Orleans Saints who have struggled on defense recently, especially in the secondary. Of the franchises that can now afford Peterson, possible landing spots could include the Cleveland Browns, Houston Texans, New York Jets, and Tennessee Titans. But with Peterson making it known he's wanting out, this changes the entire dynamic of the situation. They are a talented team that is looking like one of the best in the NFC and he can pair up with Marshon Lattimore. Boy that would be something, wouldn't it? At 3-4, the Eagles are 1.5 games behind the Washington Redskins, and although they've likely played themselves out of home-field advantage beyond the first round, they definitely can still make noise in the postseason. However, Arizona has blatantly said it is not willing to trade Peterson at this time.

Yes, Patrick Peterson should be on the Giants radar.

With Trae Waynes and Xavier Rhodes still playing this year, trading for the Cardinals cornerback in the middle of the season just doesn't make a whole ton of sense for Minnesota. Will that team be the Saints, or someone else?
