Bollywood composer and singer Anu Malik has been removed from the television reality show Indian Idol as its judge.

Malik has been judging the latest edition of the Indian Idol with Vishal Dadlani and Neha Kakkar.

Previously, allegations of misconduct against Malik began with singer Sona Mohapatra, who called him a "serial predator" and also accused singer Kailash Kher of harassing her.

As reported by PinkVilla, Anu Malik has been asked to vacant the seat of co-judge.

Strangely Anu Malik has been trying his dirty tricks on unsuspecting girls for years without his wife being any the wiser.

Noted lyricist Sameer Anjaan also came to Malik's defence and tweeted that he was present during the time Pandit is talking about but no such incident took place. In a lengthy social media post, he wrote that Anu Malik asked Shweta to sing but she requested him if she could give the voice test from a separate room. I sang it well so he said, "ill give you this song with Sunidhi and Shaan but first give me a kiss now" He then smiled, what id recall the most evil grin ive seen. His lawyer on Thursday issued a statement, stating Shweta's allegations were false and baseless. While the music composer has denied all the allegations, singer Alisha Chinai, who had taken Malik to court for sexual harassment in the 90s, has come out in support of the victims saying that whatever is said and written about Anu Malik is absolutely true.

Danica is now in NY and spoke to Mid-Day where she said, "This incident occurred in Kolkata". When she returned, she looked traumatised and told us of the unfortunate incident. "There is no Indian Idol without Anu Malik' he bragged among his colleagues", says the source. "I told him no and urged him to let me go, but he pulled me by my hair and stuffed my face in his lap, hurling abuses as he did so", she said.

Speaking about her sexual harassment case against Malik, Alisha said, "When I sued (Anu) Malik, I fought it alone". "They are well aware of his behaviour with women".
