United face Chelsea on Saturday, offering them a ideal opportunity to finally kickstart their season, having seemingly moved in a positive direction with the 3-2 comeback win over Newcastle United before the global break.

The Blues have already beaten Arsenal 3-2 at Stamford Bridge in their second league fixture of the season, before Liverpool FC denied Chelsea FC a valuable win when Daniel Sturridge netted a late equaliser in a 1-1 draw in west London outfit last month.

Manchester United managed to record a win in their last outing in the worldwide break, but the Red Devils were forced to dig deep to come from 2-0 down to secure a 3-2 victory over Newcastle United. His side now sit eighth in the table, seven points behind his former club.

"For me is another game", Mourinho told a news conference on Friday.

Then manager Jose Mourinho, who was initially backed by many over his wish for more signings, has received a lot of negative press for both performances and his attitude.

"We are talking only about eight matches (this season)".

Manchester United are the strongest team in the Premier League on a player-by-player basis, according to Chelsea head coach Maurizio Sarri.

Mourinho also has a poor record at Stamford Bridge since joining Manchester United in 2016, losing three games, one of which was in the FA Cup, by a combined score of 6-0, and his employment of various tactics, including attempting to man-mark Chelsea's star man Eden Hazard, have all failed.
