Monster alligator stomps through Florida golf course, freaks out everyone

It's not unusual to see an alligator on a Florida golf course, but Chubb's size - roughly 15 feet long - has stopped golfers in their tracks to capture video of the gargantuan gator.

Golfer Sage Stryczny caught Chubbs on video Saturday taking a stroll on the fairway before plopping down to sunbathe near the green.

"My dad says he's never seen anything like it in all the years golfing".

Chubbs became a viral sensation in 2016 when similar footage surfaced, making the gator something of a tourist attraction ― and perhaps course hazard ― at Buffalo Creek.

The management of Buffalo Creek Golf Course is well aware of Chubbs' residential status and remain calm about it, as long as it keeps its distance from their clients. "He doesn't bother anybody and they don't bother him".

Club members went a step further in talking to WFLA-TV, saying they are "more than happy to have Chubbs grace their course, with staff previously claiming he is good for business". It's unclear where he ultimately ended up, but you can imagine the scene now. "We'll miss you indeed!"
