Actress Keira Knightley says her daughter is banned from watching some of the Disney movies, including "Cinderella".

Despite starring in multiple Disney franchises, like Pirates of the Caribbean and the upcoming Nutcracker and the Four Realms, Keira Knightley doesn't think all of the studio's movies send the best message to younger audiences.

"Yeah. Cinderella - banned", Keira revealed.

After the audience applauds her answer, Knightley explains the reasoning behind her Little Mermaid decision.

Not all Disney movies are off-limits.

"Because you know, she waits around for a rich guy to rescue her".

"Don't. Rescue yourself, obviously", Knightley said.

Taking aim at Ariel and her choice to give up her voice in exchange of becoming human and bagging the man of her dreams, Keira continued: 'And this is the one that I'm quite annoyed about because I really like the film, but Little Mermaid [is banned, too]. "Hello?" she continued. "But I love'The Little Mermaid'so that one's a little tricky one, but no, I'm keeping to it". At first it was a dentist, inspired by an episode of Peppa Pig, and that made the British star happy "because that's a stable career". Edie was delivered around the same time Kate Middleton had Princess Charlotte, so Knightley talked about Kate walking out of the hospital all glammed up seven hours after having her baby.

The Bend It Like Beckham actress is typically private about her family life but also opened up about Edie's dream profession. Sometimes I cry I'm so exhausted. "My male colleagues can be late, cannot know their lines. They're working. They need to concentrate".

The Nutcracker and the Four Realms arrives in theaters on November 2.
