Apple`s cheaper iPhone XR to generate more revenue

Apple iPhone XR will sell better than the iPhone 8 did previous year, claims famed analyst Ming-Chi Kuo. The US is only one of over 50 countries and territories looking at an actual availability start on October 26, which Apple already detailed back when taking the wraps off its most affordable 2018 iPhone variant.

DigiTimes has a mixed track record in terms of quoting inside information and industry gossip; according to it, quite a number of Taiwan-based suppliers that are engaged with Apply are still unsure about the orders for the new iPhone series for the rest of the year.

The iPhone XR has the same basic design as Apple's flagship iPhone XS with numerous same high-end features such as facial recognition and the new A12 Bionic chip. Although it comes under shrewd practice that you're anxious about the future, it is still too early to make out anything of this situation.

San Francisco: Apple is likely to sell its new and cheaper iPhone XR faster than the luxury iPhone XS and XS Max, an Apple analyst has claimed.

Kuo has also revised his estimate for total iPhone shipments to 78 million to 83 million units from his earlier 75 to 80 million.

The retailer has an agreement with FNB, whereby the XR can be bought with an FNB credit card for R499 a month over 37 months for the 64GB version, R535 a month for the 128GB version, and R610 a month for the 256GB version.

It features a Liquid Retina edge-to-edge display, which Apple calls the most advanced LCD display ever implemented in a smartphone.

The iPhone Xr further boasts dual-SIM support through the combination of a nano-SIM and eSIM, and has an ingress protection rating of IP67.
