Kanye West and Kim Kardashian in Uganda, Ye gives Twitter performance

American superstar Kanye West and his wife Kim Kardashian also a television celebrity and a fashion star who are in Uganda on private visit have pledged to put up a world-class tourism school in Uganda.

Kanye West said he needed to go to Africa after a trip to Chicago where he "felt this energy".

The Departed star reprised his impression of the controversial Republican leader for a parody sketch of Kanye's White House visit on Thursday, when the Power hitmaker ranted about prison reform, mental heath, and the lack of inspirational male figures in his life.

Alastair Jamieson, a journalist at NBC News, posted: "One of the most anti-LGBT countries in the world, and Kanye West gifts the ruler a pair of sneakers". Enjoy your time in Uganda. "It is the true Pearl of Africa", he wrote.

The couple were flown from Chombe Safari Lodge in the Uganda Peoples' Defence Force helicopter, to State House. Nearly immediately, Redd brings up the 13th Amendment and how it's "trap door" leads to the Uni-Bomber.

The reality TV queen, 37, now traveling through Africa with husband Kanye West, was in Kampala, Uganda meeting with Museveni - who asked about her vocation, an insider told People.
