Grimm is eying a comeback.

Deadline reports that NBC is now in the process of developing a new spinoff based off their popular supernatural series Grimm with a female character in the lead. The untitled project will center on a female lead character and will include characters from the original series, as well as new ones. Like the original, the offshoot hails from Universal TV and Sean Hayes and Todd Milliner's studio-based Hazy Mills Prods. "I hear no actors are now attached but the idea is for offshoot to feature some original cast members, regular or recurring". Also along for the ride are two of the three co-creators from the original series, David Greenwalt and Jim Kouf, now serving as consulting producers. Together, the good Wesen and Nick (played by David Giuntoli) fought nefarious Wesen and the mysterious network of royalty who often bankrolled them. What are you hoping to see from the new series?

Throughout its six seasons on NBC, Grimm became one of the highest-rated shows on Friday nights, which is usually a rough time for network dramas. The ratings success, combined with a strong global performance, made the decision to move forward with a spinoff a no-brainer for the network.

Glenn recently worked as writer/supervising producer on the Netflix/Marvel series Iron Fist.

Glenn is repped by ICM and Ziffren Brittenham.

Hazy Mills also has comedy Exes In Law in development at NBC.
