Ariana Grande and Pete Davidson's engagement has officially been called off, according to TMZ.

Sources tell the site that the singer and comedian split at some point over the weekend, simply deciding that the timing isn't right for the relationship to be successful.

The two captivated the internet with a whirlwind romance that began in May and led to a proposal just a few weeks later in June.

Ariana Grande has been having a hard time since the passing of her former boyfriend Mac Miller.

Davidson reportedly dropped close to $100K on the engagement ring, and both lovers got multiple tattoos to symbolize their love.

Ariana Grande canceled another scheduled performance as she takes time to heal amid personal turmoil, most recently her ex Mac Miller's death.

We continue to wish Ariana well and hope to see her performing again soon. In the wake of the emotional roller coaster, it appears Grande's relationship with now-former fiancee Pete Davidson has fallen apart. According to TMZ, the pair was last spotted together last week.

"One of the most incredible things about this organization is that they help people when they're having the worst moments in their life, and they give sympathy and a calm nature to people in need in those moments".
