Rumor is Pittsburgh Steelers running back Le'Veon Bell is going to report to the team next week during the team's bye week.

He rushed for 1,291 yards with nine touchdowns over 15 games in 2017 with the Steelers, his fifth year in Pittsburgh.

Le'Veon Bell's relationship with the Pittsburgh Steelers has been an ongoing headline all season.

To hear Maurkice Pouncey tell it, a good numerous current Pittsburgh Steelers have "always known what he could do", so nothing second-year running back James Conner has done is a surprise.

Even though Bell received a $70 million offer from the Steelers during negotiations over the summer, it only contained $17 million in guarantees, which Bell felt wasn't enough.

Again, the expectation is that Bell will report to the team sometime between this Monday and Monday, Oct. 22, but no one in the organization has any idea when he'll actually return, according to Schefter. With the bye week in effect, the holdout for Bell continues.

Players meet today, practice Tuesday and Wednesday and are then off until next Monday.

Until Bell is present at the Steelers' facility, expect more reports about his recent whereabouts.
