Wales manager Ryan Giggs has ruled Gareth Bale out of Thursday's game against Spain and he's also a doubt for the Nations League tie against the Republic of Ireland on Tuesday.

It is feared to be a recurrence of the injury that saw the 29-year-old miss last week's Champions League loss to CSKA Moscow.

And according to Telemadrid, sources at Madrid are unhappy with Bale's tendency to put his own interests ahead of the club.

Bale is now with Wales' squad and although he will not feature against Spain he could play against Republic of Ireland next Tuesday.

Okdiario's chief pundit Eduardo Inda, speaking on El Chiringuito de Jugones, revealed his teammates believe Bale has not been working at full throttle in training and matches.

The 29-year-old missed Real's recent UEFA Champions League clash with CSKA Moscow, which they lost 1-0 away from home, due to injury, and also limped off the field in their 1-0 loss to Alaves in the league last weekend, leading Real to believe he would not be joining up with Wales in the global break.

"We are in consultation with Madrid", Giggs said.... "We don't want to take any unnecessary risks with Gareth, we will be preparing for the Ireland game with both scenarios in mind [with or without Bale]", the coach added.
