He said: "I love Hillary, I love everyone, right?"

Declaring that his red "MAGA" hat makes him "feel like Superman", rapper Kanye West made a free-styling appearance in the Oval Office Thursday.

Trump's daughter Ivanka Trump and son-in-law and adviser, Jared Kushner, also attended the lunch.

"That was quite something", Trump added. And that we provide a transition with mental health and the AmeriCan education curriculum that Jim has worked on.

He continued, "What I need Saturday Night Live to improve on, or what I need the liberals to improve on - if he don't look good, we don't look good".

He told Trump that he tested in the 98th percentile for IQ and has been diagnosed bipolar, but then said he's sleep deprived. "Kanye West says he thinks of Trump as a father". West acknowledged that some people have an issue with the word "again" in the trademark Trump slogan, and said he prefers simply "Make America Great".

Criminal justice reform, manufacturing jobs and gang violence in Kanye's hometown of Chicago were on the agenda for the private lunch. The reality star and entrepreneur was also instrumental in securing a commutation for Alice Marie Johnson, a woman serving a life sentence over non-violent drug charges.

The rapper then offered his thoughts on the 13th Amendment, which abolished slavery in 1865.

Where did Kanye get his "iPlane 1" image from? It's a hydrogen powered airplane, and this is what our president should be flying in.

"If he don't look good, we don't look good". This is our president.

West even showed the USA president a gif on his phone in apparent support of his pitch. "I just channelled it", the musician said.

West replied: "It was from the soul".

I just talked to the superintendent, met with Michael Sacks, that's Rahm's right-hand man.

On his own speech: "You are tasting a fine wine". It's lovely though! But there's times where, you know, it's something about - I love Hillary.

West also used the opportunity to applaud Mr Trump's efforts with North Korea and said he liked the country.

"I'm totally open. If we can do it a different way, Kanye, I'm totally open but they all - we all agree that we have to do something", Trump said. Later on, when he was asked about characterizations of the president as racist, West said, "As black people we have to take responsibility for what we're doing".

Televised portions of the meeting gave viewers some insight on the discussion.

"The problem is illegal guns, not legal guns", West responded.

'Her commutation is inspirational & gives hope to so many others who are also deserving of a second chance'. "He is my brother", West wrote.

Trump, who has had low approval ratings from African-Americans, often links the support of West and Brown to his administration's relationship with the black community. West shot back, "Only after 2024".
