The Galaxy A9 smartphone from Samsung is believed to have been recently spotted in the Geekbench results under the SM-A9200 codename.

The hotly-anticipated Samsung Galaxy A9 will feature four cameras each with a different use - an 8 megapixel ultrawide camera, a 10 megapixel telephoto camera, a 24 megapixelmain camera and a 5 megapixel depth camera, aimed at the "Instagram generation".

The highlight of the upcoming Galaxy A9 (2018) will no doubt be its quad-camera setup at the back. Below that, there's a depth-sensing 5-megapixel lens created to gather all the depth information needed to add an artificial bokeh blur to the background in Samsung's adjustable Live Focus feature.

There's another new Samsung Galaxy phone trying to grab your attention and this one comes with a very unique feature.

There's also a dual SIM slot with a dedicated MicroSD slot, and you get Samsung Pay as well as Bixby.

Security-wise, the device comes with a fingerprint scanner at the back as well as face recognition.

The company's new Galaxy A9 smartphone is available in Caviar Black, Lemonade Blue, and Bubblegum Pink. "In a world like this, everyone deserves access to the technology that delivers the most value in their eyes".

There is a button on the left but we are not sure it is the power button since it isn't Samsung's style.

"With these new phones we are reinventing the way we introduce breakthrough technologies to the people we serve".

The move is seen as a bid to fend off stiff competition from Chinese brands offering cheaper devices with comparable specifications.

Samsung is set to put all the rumors to rest when it launches the Galaxy A9 (2018) later today.
