Now Sinnoh Region Pokémon, introduced in the versions of Diamond and Pearl from the Nintendo DS, are making their way into the game.

A list of changes coming to Pokemon GO are below.

Pokemon Go Gen 4 has been confirmed by the Pokemon Company on their official website, but there is no info when the new Generation will join the game.

Niantic does not offer any hints about a release date for the first wave of Gen 4 (or the other upcoming stat and weather changes), so the community is still in conspiracy theory mode at this point. Looking closely at the image below, you can find the three starter Pokemon from the region. Spawn rates won't be affected as much by weather moving forward, and certain areas like parks and nature reserves will have more diversity in what Pokemon appear. As you explore an area over time, you'll see an increase in the variety of Pokemon that spawn and they will start spawning at different rates. The trailer looks great, but is thin on details, aside from some teasers about iconic Pokemon who will appear when the new generation is added to the game. Defense and stamina stats will also be rebalanced, allowing Pokemon with high defense to better outlast attacks.

Defense values have also been slightly retroactively reduced for most Pokemon.

The arrival of the new Sinnoh Pokemon is anticipated to change the metagame of Pokemon battling as well. Pokemon like Tangrowth, Electrive, Honchkrow and more are set to be competitive fighters as well. Don't be shy, let us know how far did you go and what do you think about the game nowadays.

Pokemon GO is available now in select regions on Android and iOS devices.
