Fabinho speaks out after quiet start to Liverpool career

My process to adapt to English football has been very good,
Since pre-season I believe I have understood the way Jurgen Klopp plays and the way the team plays.

Chelsea have the same points as Liverpool and Man City and now sit second on the league table - based on their goal difference.

But talking after the Liverpool vs Man City game, Jurgen Klopp made it clear that apart from Liverpool and Guardiola's side there are two more teams who will give a tough fight for the title.

However, Mahrez's miserable record from the spot continued as City's club record 60 million pound (US$79 million) signing missed for the fourth time in his last six penalties by blasting well over the bar.

"But I think it is not about these games, it is all about the other games, the hard games which we have against mid-table and lower teams", he added. We got one, which is fine.

"We made it hard for them and they made it hard for us at times but that's how it is".

It did mean, however, Liverpool extended their run of not conceding a home league goal to 841 minutes stretching back to February 24 and Michail Antonio's consolation for West Ham.

Van Dijk was relieved his mistimed tackle on Leroy Sane did not prove too expensive as Liverpool and City drew 0-0.

"It was not smart from me personally and hopefully it will never happen again".

'As I know, he's happy at Chelsea so, hopefully, he can stay as long as he can'.

"We made it hard for them and they made it hard for us at times but that's how it is".

Between 2009 and 2016, he won 61 caps for England, scoring his only worldwide goal against Moldova in a 2014 World Cup qualification game.

"After the worldwide break there are three important games against Huddersfield, Red Star and Cardiff so we want to be ready for that".
