Apple Watch Series 4 is crashing and rebooting due to a bug

"This continues indefinitely until the watch runs out of power", 9To5Mac reported late on Sunday.

It seems that, after the daylight saving time change happened, some Australian users have realized that their smartwatches got stuck in an endless reboot loop.

The Activity complication is meant to give the wearer a timeline graph of the current day broken down hour-by-hour for things like Move Calories, Exercise Minutes, and Stand Hours that show up in the Activity rings. We had daylight saving this morning at 2am where the clock was brought forward for an hour.

Australia has been the first country to be hit, when they advanced their clocks this weekend.

"I woke up this morning to a dead watch at 0% when it was at 70% last night before bed".

However, Apple will need to issue an update pretty quick, as Europe is heading for Daylight Saving pretty soon and the U.S. at the beginning of November. So far, the bug appears to be limited to the large activity complication. Some users have dealt with the issue by removing the watch face through the iPhone companion app. It packs a bunch of cool new features, FDA-approved ECG included, and has a powerful new S4 processor, which is more than welcome.

For those who were eagerly awaiting the arrival of the Apple Watch Series 4 Nike+ version will be thrilled to know the device is soon going to be available at an Apple Store near you.

The Apple Watch features edge-to-edge display and comes with support to track heartbeat data, heart rhythm and notify users.
