Huawei will be unveiling the all-new Mate 20 smartphones on October 16th in London.

However, if the latest leaks turn out to be accurate, the Huawei Mate 20 will beat the Xiaomi Mi 8 (almost) without breaking a sweat. However, a new teaser on the manufacturer's Twitter account is hinting at another phone called the Mate 20X.

Huawei teases "in the heat of battle, stay cool with #HUAWEIMate20X". There are snippets of some mobile games and the words "cooler" and "longer gaming". The sub-brand of Huawei, Honor, started launching devices that were targeted to those who display a penchant towards high-performance gaming sessions on smartphones, and it looks like on October 16, the Chinese giant will have a surprise for us.

According to leaked prices, the regular Mate 20 is available for $800 (799 francs) and the final price is expected to be more in the range of $850 and $900, for the 64 GB variant. We are not so sure. There is the Mate 20 itself, the Mate 20 Pro, and the Mate 20X. As of now, there is no confirmation about the special edition Mate 20 in partnership with Porsche Design. Behind Huawei P20 Pro!

The larger size of the Mate 20X means that it will inherently be able to carry a bigger battery, but the presence of a second-generation NPU courtesy of the Kirin 980 and OLED panel will also contribute to that battery endurance. Since the resolution is the same as that of the Mate 20, we believe it also has a water-drop notch.

The Huawei device with the model number LYA-L29 surfaced on AnTuTu with a HiSilicon Kirin 980 processor, 6 GB of memory, and 128 GB internal storage.
