Not really, as the hub has a tailored UI, and the Home View interface can control hundreds of thousands of devices.

The Home Hub will support Routines - Google's name for a string of related commands - and will recognize distinct voices using "voice match". A Google Home Hub that hasn't even been announced yet! For a company that built an empire on user data and connectivity, shipping a smart display without a camera is a surprising move, but a welcome one nonetheless.

Although there's no price revealed in the leak there is a release date which claims the Google Home Hub will be available from October 22.

Dubbed Home View, this is a slide-down panel that you can use to manage your connected smart home devices, whether you want to adjust the temperature in one room or turn up your music in another.

The intelligence of Google's A.I. paired with the versatility of its new Home offerings make it a covetable offering in the smart home space. What are your thoughts on the Home Hub?

It's likely that the Home Hub will be properly announced during this evening's Pixel event, where we should hopefully find out more information about it.

The Home Hub also comes with six months' worth of YouTube Premium for free. Google Home Hub will be available in four color options, with pre-orders starting today for just $149.
