More severe weather is expected well east of us.

The humidity is in check this morning, but will rise later this afternoon and continue to go up overnight.

We have a shower chance at any point during the day Tuesday, but parts of the day will be dry as well.

The weekend is expected to be sunny, too, with highs in the upper 60s.

The cold front will push across the state tomorrow, and temperatures will be limited to the mid 60s. "Main concern would be strong to locally damaging wind gusts". However, the cold front won't approach until after midnight - the most unfavorable time of day from an instability standpoint.

You can follow my updates here and on Twitter @growingwisdom. Mostly cloudy this afternoon with only a slight chance for a few isolated showers. Lows will be in the mid 50s. Rain chances at 30% for Sunday with a high of 85, so the temperatures will drop a few degrees on Sunday compared to Saturday. All of southeast MI has a slight chance for severe weather at that point.

According to The Weather Network's latest forecast, Quebec is at a high-risk for severe weather for tonight and Wednesday.
