"Man United asked Chile to rest him, and they did, he had a pretty good pre-season and I thought "Ok, he's back", but it's not happening for him". Paul Pogba has now stepped up to the plate and criticised Mourinho's approach with the Red Devils.

"We're at home and we should play much better against Wolves", Pogba said (via the Daily Mirror). 'We are here to attack.

Chris Smalling is expected to sign a new contract with Manchester United despite speculation about his future at Old Trafford, according to reports in the British media. That was our mistake.

"We should just attack and press, like we did against Tottenham, Liverpool, Chelsea and Arsenal last season". When we play like this it's easier'.

Oh, and the World Cup-winning Frenchman wasn't done there.

Jose Mourinho and Paul Pogba's relationship appears to be reaching breaking point.

"I can't tell you because I'm a player", he said.

"We are committed to our philosophy of blending top academy graduates with world-class players, and are proud that, once again, last season we had more academy graduate minutes on the pitch than any other Premier League club. Don't get me wrong, the club have supported Jose Mourinho and given him a lot of money, but you can not go half-hearted".

Pogba has scored two Premier League goals this season, both from the penalty spot, although he was denied from 12 yards by Joe Hart against Burnley. "We should move more, yeah".
