Given the culture's impact on the league, featuring Atlanta's buzzing music scene during Pepsi's halftime show is seemingly indisputable to everyone except the NFL, who has recently tapped Maroon 5 for the iconic show. According to TMZ, she is negotiating a solo set in addition to performing "Girls Like You", her chart-topping collaboration with Maroon 5.

Needless to say, fans are jumping at the idea of Cardi getting a chance to shine at the television event of the year.
