"I'm sorry. I really want to get to know you because you're someone who made me feel special and I haven't felt that way in a long time", she said, holding back tears. "But I've found that love for myself".

Another tweeted: "The Bachelor Vietnam has two contestants who legit rode of into the sunset with each other and left the stale bread that is The Bachelor himself so I've been hype all morning".

As the other contestants watched in shock, Nhu walked up to the bachelor to return her rose.

One person wrote: "So a woman contestant on Vietnam's The Bachelor confessed her love for another woman and they left together!" "I want to ask, if you decide this, would you feel regretful?" No, Minh chose to confess her love to her fellow competitor in the middle of a rose ceremony, of all times! "This doesn't change my decision". But Nhu tearfully gave him his rose back and walked off the set with Thursday. "After talking to Trung, I've changed my mind to accept this rose and continue this journey", she said. "I want to let you know that I think you'll have regret if you continue with what you are about to say". You only get one chance in this life, and you need to take it.

Despite his statement, Nhu denied him.

"I'm sorry. I'm giving you back your rose..."

It appears freaky love triangles and same-sex relationships are the order of The Bachelor globally, after the Vietnam franchise threw up one of the stranger plot twists over the weekend.

Nhu and Thursday then walked out together, making jaws drop on the Bachelor set. According to sources in Vietnam, who were watching the season on TV and not through YouTube clips, the woman who was asked to leave with Thursday, actually made it back into the house. Nhu then changed her mind and re-accepted Trung's rose.

Others expressed disappointment that Nhu returned to the competition instead of departing with Thursday. In 2016, Megan Marx and Tiffany Scanlon left Richie Strahan's season of The Bachelor Australia and formed a relationship which lasted over six months, before calling it quits in early 2017.
