The emotional interview comes on the heels of Jimmy Bennett doing his own interview on Italian television to discuss his allegations that Argento sexually assaulted him when he was a minor.

"I was anxious about coming in front of an audience and being accused of not being honest about the violence against me", Bennett said. "After this, that's why I chose the silent route".

The actor and rock musician was 17 years old at the time of the alleged assault.

The former child star accused Argento - who had worked with him 10 years earlier on the 2004 film "The Heart Is Deceitful Above All Things", when he was 7 years old - of starting the whole thing, according to The Daily Beast.

It was revealed that Argento's late boyfriend Anthony Bourdain had agreed to pay Bennett $380,000 in hush money to get him to drop a lawsuit against the Italian actress which sought damages for the alleged attack.

"It's hard for me to talk about this", Jimmy Bennett, 22, said on an Italian TV program during his first on-camera appearance since accusing Argento of sexual assault. 'There was always a barrier of culture in how she acted, and maybe I didn't know what to expect'.

"People say I murdered him".

'After the kisses started getting longer and it started with her placing her hands in different ways. "I was underage when the event took place, and I tried to seek justice in a way that made sense to me at the time because I was not ready to deal with the ramifications of my story becoming public".

"She asked me to take a photo", Bennett told the host.

Text messages purportedly featuring Argento admitting to sleeping with the boy, and photographs showing them topless in bed together subsequently emerged online, prompting her to launch a vicious attack on Bennett, declaring herself as the real victim. 'Yes, it was on my phone. Yes, it was after we had sex'.

"Anthony was afraid of the possible negative publicity that such person, whom he considered unsafe, could have brought upon us", the statement reads.

His attorney then questioned if he was under this scrutiny because he was a man.

"That's not really what it's about", Bennett responded.

In her first interview since Anthony Bourdain's suicide and sexual assault accusations came out, Asia Argento says people have accused her of driving the "Parts Unknown" host to suicide because of her cheating.
