Moto One Power to launch in India today: Specifications, features, and more

The smartphone from Motorola will be its first take on Android One in India.

After the initial global launch at IFA 2018 in Berlin, Motorola is launching the Moto One Power in India. To recall, the Lenovo-owned brand had launched the Motorola One Power at IFA 2018 late last month, alongside the Motorola One.

Motorola recently launched the Moto G6 series in India.

We also know that the smartphone will be exclusive to Flipkart. Moto One comes with a glass back panel and slightly superior specifications than Moto One Power. With Motorola One Power, the company is embracing new features like notched display and vertical camera setup seen on premium devices like the iPhone X. It comes with a 6.2-inch LCD display supporting a resolution of 2246×1080 pixels, and taller 18.7:9 aspect ratio. Powering the phone is Qualcomm's mid-range workhorse, Snapdragon 636, which is an octa-core processor, clocked at 1.8GHz. This would mean the smartphone competes with such offerings as the Asus ZenFone Max Pro M1, Xiaomi Redmi 6 Pro, Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro, and the Nokia 6.1 Plus. It is paired with 4GB of RAM and has 64GB of internal storage with support for expandable storage up to 256GB via a microSD card. Up front, it has an 8MP camera for selfies.

For photography, Motorola One Power sports dual-rear cameras consisting of 16-megapixel and 5-megapixel sensors.

In terms of connectivity, the phone gets 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth v5.0, GPS/ A-GPS, USB Type-C and a 3.5mm headphone jack. It carries 5000 mAh battery with Motorola's TurboPower charging technology.
