A top five contestant featured prominently on America's Got Talent who recently was asked by Garth Brooks to perform at Garth's Notre Dame show on October 20th, was arrested on Thursday and charged with felony domestic violence.

We've obtained video of Ketterer in custody outside of the hotel he was arrested at talking with an officer.

The window is rolled halfway up, just barely allowing him to speak with the cops, and his posture indicates that he is likely wearing handcuffs. Officers noticed a red mark on his wife and arrested Ketterer for felony domestic violence.

Ketterer was taken into custody Thursday afternoon by the LAPD in Hollywood.

Law enforcement sources say police were called after Michael and his wife got into a fight. He then spoke to TMZ reporters, claiming that the incident was a "misunderstanding". He said that he and his wife did get into an argument in their hotel room, and the cops were called (unclear who called them), but his wife told police that she didn't want to press any charges.

The case will reportedly end up referred to the L.A. City Council.

Ketterer was a standout on the most recent 13th season of America's Got Talent.

The arrest comes just days after the two-day AGT finale, where Ketterer placed 5th overall. "Simon loved him. I doubt he will be signing him now", another user wrote.
