Eminem's recently released diss track "Killshot" - a reply to Machine Gun Kelly's "Rap Devil" - is now the largest debut of any Hip Hop record in the history of YouTube.

The official audio of "Killshot" earned a record 38.1 million views on YouTube in its first 24 hours of release on Friday (Sept. 14).

Although the "Lose Yourself" rapper has one of the highest debut streams on YouTube, the 28-year old artist still holds the number one spot on the iTunes Hip-Hop Chart. It's now had over 80 million views on the site. The rappers have been caught up in a war of words in recent weeks, stemming from drama that ignited back in 2012 when Kelly tweeted about Em's then-teenage daughter Hailie's looks.

There have been diss tracks, Twitter trolling, and some rather interesting fan theories, but the dramatics were really cranked up to 11 last week when Eminem released his response to MGK's diss track with "Killshot".

The video for MGK's "Rap Devil", released September 3rd via WorldStarHipHop's YouTube page, now has over 98 million views. Like I'm trying to hinder his career. "You think I actually fuckin" think about you?

Interestingly, that other writer is a producer known as Ronny J (real name Ronald Oneil Spence Jr.), and he also produced two tracks on Eminem's Kamikaze.

Social media is a breeding ground of misrepresentation and many attendants have since countered this image by releasing statements and video footage of the rapper receiving choruses of boos during his performance.
