Though her husband - former CBS chairman Les Moonves, 68 - stepped down from his executive position after he was accused of sexual misconduct, CBS insiders tell TMZ that the network doesn't want to punish her for Les's alleged misdeeds. Julie is also the long-time host of popular Summertime reality show 'Big Brother, ' which ends on September 26th. The IF is bringing the show back for another season.

"Right now I need to spend more time at home with my husband and my young son, so I have made a decision to leave The Talk", she said. First, the "BB" shooting schedule is less demanding than "The Talk" so it gives her more time to spend with her husband and son - something she says is a priority.

"It didn't seem possible for her to be a part of the daily conversation CBS with so many people thinking about what has happened with her husband and the allegations against her husband", Brian Stelter, the host of CNN's "Reliable Sources" told Inside Edition. So, she's reportedly going to finish out the current season of Big Brother, and the plan is for her to return.

Chen's future on The Talk had been in doubt since her husband left the company and the scandal surrounding his departure became a major news story.
