Very recently, a couple of display panel images of Note 6 Pro were leaked online, which also hinted at the presence of a notch on top of the display. The newly leaked image of the Redmi Note 6 Pro reveals some key details. The two leaked images confirm that the Redmi Note 6 Pro specs will have quad cameras on board.

It features a 5-inch HD display with a 1280 x 720 resolution.

Xiaomi's top-selling Redmi Note series is due for upgrade.

Another area where the Redmi Note 6 Pro is expected to be a significant improvement over the current Redmi Note 5 Pro is imaging. As expected, the Redmi Note 6 Pro will have a 4000 mAh Li-ion battery, similar to the Redmi Note 3, Redmi Note 4, Redmi Note 5, and Redmi Note 5 Pro.

Apart from new and bigger display, Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro will also step up its selfie camera game. The device is confirmed to feature a mammoth 6.26-inch FHD+ display which is a flawless fit for watching videos online. For selfies as well, the Redmi Note 6 Pro will feature a dual-camera setup on the front with a 20MP primary sensor and a 2MP secondary sensor, allowing for some great portrait shots. Keeping the lights on is a 4000mAh battery which comes with Quick Charge support. Previous rumors had suggested that the smartphone could be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 chipset under the hood in two memory configurations. However, the Redmi Note 6 Pro will be the first Redmi device to launch in India with a quad camera setup.

Thanks to the bigger display, improved cameras, and a more powerful Snapdragon 660 chipset, the Redmi Note 6 Pro is expected to be priced slightly higher compared to its predecessor. The cheapest Snapdragon 660 SoC device in India is the Xiaomi Mi A2 and if Xiaomi manages to launch the Note 6 Pro below the Rs 15,000 price point, it will attract more buyers.

Meanwhile, Giztop via GizmoChina has also listed the Redmi Note 6 Pro on its website for $199 which is approx. The device is running MIUI 9.5 on the software side of things, but it should come with MIUI 10 out of the box in India.
