Samsung has scheduled an event in Malaysia on October 11, where the company is expected to launch a new smartphone under its Galaxy lineup. While many previous reports have already been tipping details about the presence of five cameras in the smartphone, the latest report reiterates the leaks and suggests that the top-end model of the Galaxy S10 will be the one to house them. In a bid to stay ahead of the competition, Samsung has something special in store for fans. Going by the hint dropped on the company's official Twitter handle, a new Galaxy smartphone promises "4x Fun".

Samsung could be hinting at either 4x zoom or 4 cameras here.

The event will also be live-streamed on Samsung's website.

It is easy to interpret the wording of the invite as a sign Samsung will release a device with four cameras. Later it was asserted that this quad-camera device will not be the Galaxy F or S10.

And yes, all the four cameras will be placed on the back side, clarifies the leakster upon questioning about the placement of the cameras.

The Samsung Galaxy Note 9 - particularly the 512GB version - is selling very well.

As Samsung gets ready to celebrate the 10th anniversary of its Galaxy S-series expectedly by launching the Galaxy S10 in 2019, rumours surrounding the upcoming smartphone are pouring in from all corners.
