I am not the one who needs to carry that shame, ' she wrote. It's gonna be okay, it got deleted, what's the big deal?' she explained. None of that stopped Munn. "Whatever she's gone through the subsequent years is most important to me".

Honestly, there was never a question in my mind whether I should be speaking out and speaking up.

Of her decision to speak up, Munn asked, "How could you not do that, like, what's the other option?"

Then came what Munn considered a frosty reception from her fellow actors.

Munn has said she has felt isolated since sharing the information about Striegel. "I can understand others might disapprove, as his conviction was on a sensitive charge and not to be taken lately". The actress said her mom declared "who cares about Hollywood" and proposed that they buy a house in Costa Rica, build a smoothie bar on the beach and rent out "boog boards". Also, some of her castmates' statements seemed to dismiss the controversy or didn't always have her back.

After learning of Wilder's criminal history, Munn alerted Fox, and the scene was ultimately cut; however, she was "chastised" by the studio for not keeping quiet about the controversy.

The film opened in theatres in Australia on Thursday. That doesn't matter, because I'm not allowed to make a decision based on what I think, ' he said.

At the Los Angeles premiere of "The Predator" on Wednesday night, "Extra's" Renee Bargh spoke with Munn, who said about the controversial scene, "We all worked so hard on this movie so, you know, it would be really hard to promote it and to enjoy it and to feel like we've put out something that we can all stand behind, and now that it's deleted, we can all do that". "And I didn't vet somebody". That's irresponsible, and I shouldn't have done it'.

The director expressed his remorse over the decision to cast Striegel, and took full responsibility for the fallout. That's unacceptable. I take full responsibility. "I am very deeply sorry... because it really bothers me that this movie that could have been these handsome people on a attractive night but for only this, has been overshadowed in some ways by a stupid decision I made". I hope I learn from this because it really bothers me that this movie which could have been this handsome people, and this attractive night with only this has been overshadowed in some ways by a stupid decision that I made. "I'm very sorry to anybody". However, Shane Black was well aware that his friend is a registered sex offender and originally issued a defense saying, "I personally chose to help a friend", but later released a follow-up statement and apology. However, Munn found that she had to do interviews alone (save for one with eleven-year-old Jacob Tremblay).

"I have no shame for what was done to me".
