The 35-minute presentation was bookended by two major new announcements for next year: Luigi's Mansion 3 and a new Animal Crossing, and you can read about them and all the other reveals here.

If you'd like a more light-hearted play through of the latest in the line of Final Fantasy titles, explore the world of FINAL FANTASY XV with a cast of adorable characters in Final Fantasy XV: Pocket Edition HD! X-2 HD Remaster, and Final Fantasy XII The Zodiac Age are all scheduled to release in 2019. Additionally, what about all of those Final Fantasy games that appeared on Nintendo hardware?

World of Final Fantasy Maxima will lead the charge with its release on the Xbox One on November 6th.

Chocobo's Mystery Dungeon EVERY BUDDY!, a "return" to the 2007 game Final Fantasy Fables: Chocobo's Dungeon, will debut for Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 4 this winter.

That was far from the only Final Fantasy related annoucement though, even accepting that news of Final Fantasy XV: Pocket Edition HD had already leaked out. I for one am beyond relieve to see Square Enix finally supporting Xbox with their re-releases and remasters, and this certainly makes it likely the developmentally-challenged FF7 remake will come our way as well.
