Ariana Grande Breaks Her Silence About Mac Miller’s Death

7 at just 26 years old, celebrities swarmed social media to show their support for the young rapper.

The two were friends and collaborators for years - first working together on Grande's hit "The Way" - before officially becoming a couple in 2016. She wrote on Instagram. She spoke about her love for Mac and added that they had talked about him overdosing "so many times". There could not have been anybody more supportive of him being sober than Ariana.

"She was a fucking G to him".

Ariana Grande faced a lot of backlash following Mac's death.

On Friday, Grande posted on her Instagram page a video she filmed of her then-beau at dinner. It was a simple black and white shot of Mac, sitting down and looking up at the camera.

One week after his death on September 7, the Sweetener singer has penned a touching tribute to her ex-boyfriend, who was found dead at his Studio City, Calif. home after an apparent drug overdose. He was a bright light in this world for his family, friends and fans. "Thank you from the bottom of my heart". "There are no further details as to the cause of his death at this time". I saw that, I was around it, I took phone calls from her - 'How do I help?' 'What do I do?'

He continued: "I gotta tell you, man, there was no one in his life more ready to go to the wall for him when it came to him being sober and she was an unbelievably stabilising force in his life".
