That underdog is the iPhone XR and let us remind you that while it sports an LCD screen, it features a lot of the things that the iPhone Xs and iPhone Xs Max come armed with, including Apple's first ever 7nm FinFET chipset, the A12 Bionic.

One key detail that Apple did not mention during its recent keynote is the fact that it will not be shipping the Lightning to 3.5mm audio dongle with its new iPhones.

Here are two more Apple Watch ads.

Apple also introduced a lower-cost 6.1-inch (15.5 cm) iPhone XR made of aluminum, at a starting price at $749, and will be available in the United States from October 26.

That's still more than the iPhone SE, however, which sold for $399, making it the cheapest iPhone the firm had sold. Now, the chances of that happening seem much slimmer.

While Apple unveiled the three successors to previous year's iPhone X, its previous generation smartphones - iPhone 8, iPhone 8 Plus, iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus, iPhone 6S and iPhone 6S Plus - have all received price cuts in typical Apple fashion. There's a type A cable with support of 5W lightning charger.

Unlike the United States market, where the iPhone X was entirely discontinued, the Indian variant of the iPhone X will also get a price cut like its older siblings.

Therefore, if you were in love with the smaller 4-inch compact form factor or don't want to part with the headphone jack on an iPhone, you can try your luck with the SE and 6S till stocks last. It has the same upgraded technology as the iPhone XS phones, and you can take Bokeh portrait shots with the help of software.

Apple iPhone X Apple's iPhone X now starts at Rs 91,900 for the base model with 64GB.

The firm infamously remarked that it had the "courage" to move away from the headphone jack, prompting some ridicule from users. It has an LCD screen instead of OLED and has a single camera instead of a dual camera.
