Just prior to the start of Gamescom 2018, Activision announced the official release date and a new edition for From Software's Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice. Ahead of this week's Gamescom, the publisher revealed that the stealth-action slasher will be available on PS4 and Xbox One on March 22, 2019, with the PC version now set for simultaneous release. While a lot of the game is still a mystery the release date isn't: it's March 22, 2019. Said edition comes with the game (you have to clarify that these days), a seven inch Shinobi statue, a steelbook case, artbook, map, soundtrack, and replica game coins - it's par for the course for From collectors packages.

In addition, it was also revealed that those who are in attendance at Gamescom this week will get the opportunity to go hands-on with Sekiro for the first time. FromSoftware and publisher Activision announced the release date of the game today with a tweet confirming the date.

Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice can be pre-ordered for digital platforms now, while the collector's edition is available from select markets. On one hand, we don't want to disappoint the players looking for a hardcore game, but we also want as many people as possible to be able to experience the pleasure of overcoming a challenge.
