OnePlus' next smartphone, anticipated to be called the OnePlus 6T, will reportedly launch in October this year. However, the most interesting thing to look forward to is that the OnePlus 6T will reportedly be backed by a major USA carrier for the first time, in this case, T-Mobile.

T-Mobile would be the exclusive launch carrier for OnePlus in the U.S., selling the phone through its retail stores and website, CNET reports, while OnePlus will still sell an unlocked version of the 6T via its own site. OnePlus is still in the process of getting what's known as "technical approval" at the carrier, according to one person.

According to popular tipster Ice Universe, the OnePlus 6T could be based on the upcoming OPPO R17 Pro. The standard global device will run on AT&T and T-Mobile, among major networks around the world.

Moreover, the latest rumors also indicating that the new OnePlus 6T, of course, the upgraded version of the OnePlus 6 that is still to come, would come from the hand of T-Mobile, becomes stronger with confirmation from various sources. As such, it'll be no surprise to learn that OnePlus phones are usually based on OPPO flagships-the 5T was based on the OPPO R11s, and the OnePlus 6 got its inspiration from the OPPO R15 Pro-albeit with slight differences. While the unveiling of the successor to OnePlus 6 is not far off, a new report has provided more details on the upcoming smartphone.

The well-known Chinese smartphone manufacturers OnePlus has struggled in recent years to win its position in the market. Huawei and ZTE have both been hamstrung by government pressure at a time when the U.S.' trading relationship with China is pretty unstable. It appears that has now come to fruition.

So, what do you think about this? Is the company about to see a serious boost in sales?
