Monster Hunter Generations Ultimate is getting a Switch demo tomorrow

It sounds like a beast of a preview and, better still, it's out imminently. Gaijinhunter also mentioned players should save their opinions on Monster Hunter Generations Ultimate's weapons system for when it is officially released. Three years on, United Kingdom players are getting our first chance to play an enhanced version of the game on Switch.

At the end of this month US Switch owners will finally have the most fully stocked Monster Hunter game in their hands - and now Capcom's rolling out a little something to make that home stretch of the wait more bearable.

If not, search for the game title and, after clicking on the game's hub page, press the "Download demo" button. An enhanced version which featured new monsters and costumes also released on the 3DS and Nintendo Switch, but only in Japan, under the name Monster Hunter XX. Especially since there's a crap ton of monsters in the game. The full game releases 28th August 2018. Everything that you see included in the demo is not actually in the full game proper, but merely a taste of things to come. Generations originally released on the 3DS internationally back in 2016.
