New Constructor Machinist character Thora has also been added to Save the World, available at the Event Store.

Fortnite's 5.21 update is now available across all platforms, introducing yet another new weapon to the game-the Heavy Sniper-and making a handful of bug fixes to both Battle Royale and Save the World.

In addition to the Heavy Sniper, there are two new limited-time game modes being added to the game today. It'll deal a lot of damage to players and even more to structures.

The heavy sniper rifle leads the patch notes from developer Epic Games. This new mode looks to try and offer a new twist of the 50 vs 50 mode and brings a huge emphasis on mobility.

From great heights (more than 10 metres), the Soaring 50's LTM enables you to re-deploy your glider by presing the jump button, and additional Impulse Grenades, Bounce Pads, and Launch Pads are also spawned across the map.

The Soaring 50's mode in Fortnite will allow players to deploy their gliders in the middle of matches when they are higher than 10m in the air. "Jump in and soar to new heights!"

The returning Sniper Shootout pits players against each other at long range, since the only weapons it'll deliver are sniper rifles.

Floor Loot spawns reduced by 50%.

Profile Stats (K/D & Wins) are tracked in this mode.

These large rounds deal increased damage (1050/1100) to buildings.

Features bulletproof enemies that must be defeated with melee weapons, traps, or Hero abilities.

Removed the Power Rating restrictions on Challenge the Horde missions. Are you getting through your weekly challenges?

Fortnite is out now in early access for iOS, Android, PC, PS4, Switch, and Xbox One.
