Aerosmith To Launch Las Vegas Residency Next Year

On Wednesday the rock band announced its "Deuces Are Wild" residency, which will kick off on April 6, 2019, at the Park Theater in the new Park MGM resort on the Vegas Strip.

According to a press release, the show is set to feature "never-seen-before visuals and audio from Aerosmith recording sessions" as well as "one of the most immersive, state-of-the art audio and video technology experiences in Las Vegas".

Aerosmith have confirmed that they will play a total of 18 shows in Las Vegas in 2019.

Aerosmith's announcement was made on the "Today" show before the rockers entertained fans at Rockefeller Plaza with some of their classic hits.

"We are going to bring hot, sexy rock and roll to Vegas!" said the band's Steven Tyler and Joe Perry.

The stage show will be produced by Grammy Award victor Giles Martin, who created the soundscape for the Beatles' LOVE by Cirque du Soleil in Vegas.

Members of Aerosmith's "Aero Force One" fan club get first shot at the tickets on August 16, with official presale credit card Citi members next on August 20. "We wanna bring a show that still has Aerosmith and all the guts of Aerosmith but has a whole other element to it that we've never been able to do before".

"We'll bring you into Aerosmith world, the history behind our nearly 50 years of being together", drummer Joey Kramer added, "As you walk into the Park Theater in Vegas, you're gonna walk into Aerosmith world".
