Well, today's your lucky day.

IMAX theaters are planning a movie marathon of heroic proportions, showing all 20 films of the Marvel Cinematic Universe in an epic week long film festival.

All 20 films will be shown in their release order over the first five days of the marathon, followed by two theme days, "Origins" (Iron Man, Spider-Man: Homecoming, Black Panther and Doctor Strange) and "Team-Ups" (Guardians of the Galaxy: Vol 2, Captain America: Civil War, The Avengers and Avengers: Infinity War). Voting for that is already open, so head on over to the IMAX official Twitter poll sometime between now and August 17 (when the poll closes) and pick your two faves. "This is an incredible celebration for fans". Now, for the first time ever, all Marvel Studios' films will be digitally re-mastered into the image and sound quality of The IMAX Experience® with proprietary IMAX DMR® (Digital Re-mastering) technology.

The Marvel Cinematic Universe launched in 2008 with the groundbreaking Iron Man film, breaking out in large part due to Robert Downey Jr.'s portrayal of Tony Stark. The festival starts on August 30 and runs through the MCU catalog until September 3, before switching over on September 4 and 5 for the themed "origins" and "teamups" screenings.

You can check tickets near you on Fandango right now. "The crystal-clear images, coupled with IMAX's customized theatre geometry and powerful digital audio, create a unique environment that will make audiences feel as if they are in the movie".
