Just about everything you could possibly want to know about the Galaxy Note9 has already leaked out, but there's still the official launch event to look forward to later today in NY. The 128GB version comes in at $1000 - iPhone X money.

Epic Games and Samsung have launched the Fortnite Battle Royale Android beta on August 9, plus an exclusive Galaxy skin for Samsung Galaxy users.

The Note's signature S Pen, now in brighter colors like yellow and purple, packs a smarter punch than its predecessor.

This latest in the Note Series also proves that the pen is mightier than the sword - the S Pen that is. As a neat touch, the digital ink that you write with on the lock screen memo app matches the color of each pen by default. Outside the USA, it'll come in black and copper.

On Reddit, Epic addressed the issue, offering a statement that seemed to imply that, rather than shut out support for mouse on consoles, they plan to tweak matchmaking going forwards, so that players get matched with others sharing their control scheme. It's combined with 6 GB of LPDDR4 memory.

Though we may only been seeing some peripheral changes with this phone, bigger is what the Note 9 is all about; the battery, bigger; the screen, bigger; and the storage, you guessed it, bigger. The built-in storage can be topped with microSD cards up to 512GB capacity. Plenty of space for games, work documents, and 4K video files.

The Samsung Galaxy Note 9 launch is taking place later today. As one of the most hotly-anticipated phones of 2018, there's plenty of demand for this new flagship.

Specs-wise, the Galaxy Note 9 isn't too much of a major upgrade from the Note 8. In the USA, that will be sold by AT&T, Sprint, T-Mobile, U.S. Cellular, Verizon Wireless, and Xfinity.

Apart from that, the Galaxy Note 9's front design remains unchanged.

The carriers are likely to announce specifics of their payment plans, promotions, and more this morning.

Epic says more information will be coming next week. And we'll never turn down more storage. Samsung has priced it at $1,249.99.

Samsung may have played it safe with the Galaxy Note 9, but this isn't exactly unexpected.

If you decide to preorder the Note 9, you'll be able to take advantage of a special offer from Samsung.

To tempt you into preordering, there are some deals to sweeten the price. Although the Note 9 doesn't have any groundbreaking new feature - especially next to the Galaxy S9+ - this is still the best Note device Samsung has ever released.

You might want to act fast, though. Only 102,000 AKG noise cancellation headphones, 46,000 Game Bundles, and 36,000 Bundles will be made available, according to the company. So, if you're wondering about what the Samsung Galaxy Note 9 is all about, head over below for the details. It happens nearly instantaneously as well - I picked the Note 9 up and pointed it at a stack of macaroons, and a small food icon popped up a second or two later near the bottom of the display.
