More information is sure to pop up as we inch closer and closer to American Horror Story: Apocalypse's September 12 premiere.

Ryan Murphy has confirmed that several American Horror Story: Coven cast members are returning for American Horror Story: Apocalypse. "Stevie Nicks" would be coming back for the show's monstrous eighth season. "So thrilled the family is together again!" Fiona (played by Jessica Lange) calls in a favour, bringing the iconic singer in an attempt to out Day as the next in line for the Supremacy. The season a crossover between previous seasons Murder House and Coven, with Paulson playing her characters from those two seasons as well as a new character named Venable.

During the show's TCA panel this month, Apocalypse executive producer Alexis Martin Woodall said the season's title should be taken at face value. "It's very tangible, and it's a familiar panic".

Murphy, as per usual, tweeted out the news.

And we have been given our first look at season 8 (SOS).

We might not know all the details, we do know that some pretty big names are returning: Evan Peters, Sarah Paulson, Emma Roberts, Kathy Bates, Billie Lourd, Joan Collins, Billy Eichner, Cheyenne Jackson, Adina Porter and Leslie Grossman.

The Emmy, Golden Globe and AFI Award-winning series from co-creators Murphy and Brad Falchuk aired its seventh season on FX a year ago.
