Arturo Vidal is excited to get going at Barcelona after joining from Bayern Munich, stating his intention to "win everything" at the Nou Camp. "I think I can do that with this team, the best team in the world".

"I hope to make a contribution and help my teammates to win all the titles". "I have come here to win everything", he told reporters. Vidal affirmed that Barcelona represents a big step up from his time at Bayern Munich and when asked about Real Madrid he said he is a rival to any team that plays against Barcelona. "I have arrived with all the energy and ready to leave my heart on the pitch".

"FC Barcelona will shortly inform everyone about the arrival of the player and the agenda of the presentation ceremony".

"I do not know if we are moving fast or not", he added.

"The most important thing is to have Arturo here", sporting director Eric Abidal said.

"He has plenty of experience and he has played across a very high level for a number of clubs, he is someone who offers a presence and will not disappear on the field". I've heard a lot about the "Barcelona DNA", but I have the mentality.

Vidal reached the final with Juventus in 2015, when they lost to Barcelona.

'I hope to win three Champions Leagues in the three years I will be here'.

The 31-year-old former Bayer Leverkusen and Juventus midfielder won the Bundesliga in each of his three seasons with Bavarian giants Bayern but feels Barca is a greater challenge.

'At 15 I promised my mother I would be one of the best.
