Kanye West canceled his appearance on The Late Late Show's Carpool Karaoke, costing the talk show $45,000.

Whatever happened to cause the injury, it didn't seem to ruin the day for either Grande or James Corden, host of "The Late Late Show". Corden responded without hesitation, "Oh, I can answer this easily". "I was in a vehicle, and by the time the call finished, I was sat outside his house and they were like, 'He's not in the zone for it right now.'" The cancelled appearance apparently cost Corden and The Late Late Show a whopping $45,000 Dollars. "We'll do it another time, '" Corden explained. Once, he even drove all the way to Kanye's house, only to be told that "he's not in the zone for it right now".

To make up for his last-minute cancellation, West, 41, sent him "a lovely gift".

Knowing what they have, CBS has announced today that later this month, on August 20, they are going to air an hour-long cut of the appearance for a special titled Carpool Karaoke: When Corden Met McCartney Live From Liverpool. "And people were like, 'Whoa, they're so expensive.' And I was like, 'Yeah, they cost my show $45,000, '" Corden revealed. "This is a great question for me", Corden said elatedly after being asked why the rapper never appeared on the segment. "He's our dream". He knows that, he's my absolute dream'.

We can't wait to hear James belting out "God Is A Woman" alongside Ariana, but until then we have an album to look forward to. The moments in the original 23-minute segment like Corden tearing up while singing "Let It Be", to Paul visiting his childhood home in Liverpool, to the surprise performance in a random pub at the end were off the chart heartwarming.
