The neighbor lives only a block away from the home where Tibbetts was dog sitting alone, according to Fox, which alleged the SUV "went very slowly around the neighborhood". Crime Stoppers of Central Iowa said Sunday, Aug. 5, that relatives of Tibbetts believe she's alive but has potentially been kidnapped. Investigators so far have not commented on it. She had been living with her boyfriend for the summer.

TIMELINE: Missing college student Mollie Tibbetts' last known movements At least 40 individuals and businesses have contributed to a fund for information regarding Tibbetts' whereabouts, Greg Willey, VP of Public Relations for Crime Stoppers Of Central Iowa, announced at a Friday news conference with Tibbetts' friends and family.

Law enforcement has not publicly called Cheney a suspect in the disappearance of Tibbetts but Fox News reports the Federal Bureau of Investigation interviewed Cheney again Friday and asked to search his property.

"We don't have these types of things happen too often", Willey told ABC News of such disappearances and their ensuing rewards.

Search crews have scoured several areas including a pig farm about 10 miles from Brooklyn, Iowa where Tibbetts lived.

Cheney told Fox News that he refused to take a polygraph test and indicated that Federal Bureau of Investigation agents planned to return to his farm on Sunday.

The FBI last week searched his home and some of his property, and looked through his cellphone, the farmer said. He has declined to take a polygraph, Fox News also reported.

Authorities on Sunday said they've been following up on "hundreds" of leads in the case. The report of the SUV comes after authorities said a female body they found in Lee County, Iowa, was not Mollie Tibbetts.

Tibbetts' family has offered a $260,000 reward to anyone who has information about her disappearance.

A spokesperson from the state's Division of Criminal Investigation added that investigators have even pulled resources from other cases, directing them to the search for the 20-year-old University of Iowa student, saying the case has become their main priority.

A person mowing the lawn near the Lincoln Wildfire Reserve found a red shirt, Fox News reported.
