In a new video shared earlier today on the series' Official Facebook Page, Associate Community Manager Brand Camel confirms that multiple Diablo projects are now in the works, some releasing earlier than others. Camel stated that Blizzard might reveal what's in development later this year. At the time, a reimagining of the second game seemed unlikely, as did a full-on Diablo 4. "Some of them are going to take longer than others, but we may have some things to show you later this year".

Blizzard is gearing up for something big with regards to the Diablo series and has been for some time, but we still don't quite know what the developer has been cooking. "None of this would be possible without the support that you've shown us for over 20 years". Camel re-iterates that "Diablo is and always will be part of Blizzard's identity". But the rumored Switch launch for Diablo III also remains a possibility.

Greetings heroes, I am community manager Brandy Camel, also known as Nevalistis.

It's unclear what the multiple Diablo projects could be, but the one that's going to take longer to develop might be Diablo IV. It will likely reveal more during BlizzCon 2018, which takes place November 2-3 at the Anaheim Convention Center in Anaheim, Calif.
