Honor Play to go on sale via Amazon India at 4PM today

With the GPU Turbo, the graphics processing efficiency of the device will be increased up to 60% and the battery consumption will decrease by 30%. Ahead of the launch, the Honor Play's availability details have surfaced online. The Honor Play also comes with many AI additions which will help games run smoothly on the phone apart from providing vibration feedback while gaming. Honor will be rolling out the technology to existing phones like the Honor 10, Honor View10, Honor 9 Lite and Honor 7X, via a software update in the days to come. There is also the AI scene recognition which is a significant feature Honor is boasting about on its phone. Unlike the Note 10, this smartphone has a notch-display. The device features a 3.5 mm headphone jack with support for Histen Audio. Honor is also using a special film on the screen of the Honor Play to reduce glare in warm sunny environment. Both the variants ship with 64GB of internal storage and there's a microSD card slot for storage expansion. To recap, the smartphone's 4GB RAM variant retails at RMB 1,999 (approximately Rs 21,300), while the 6GB RAM variant retails at RMB 2,399 (approximately Rs 24,300). As many of you might be aware, Kirin 970 happens to power all the flagship Huawei and Honor smartphones released this year.

Post the launch today, the Honor Play will be exclusively available via Amazon India.

The Honor Play bears a dual rear camera setup, with the primary 16-megapixel sensor sporting an f/2.2 aperture, and the secondary 2-megapixel sensor sporting an f/2.4 aperture, complete with support for phase detection autofocus (PDAF) and accompanied by a single-LED flash. A front camera is a 16megapixel unit with f/2.0 aperture. The front cam supports portrait selfies and face unlock. The Honor Play will be available in two colours: blue and black and will start selling from Amazon India from Monday, August 6 4PM onwards.
