‘The Flash’ Casts Chris Klein As Season 5 Villain Cicada

Chris Klein, known for his roles in Election and American Pie, will play the primary antagonist in the upcoming fifth season of The Flash. The actor has signed on as a series regular to play next season's main nemesis, Cicada.

Well, as you can see in the trailer just screened for those fortunate enough to be at San Diego Comic-Con (above), the Scarlet Speedster has put his own spin on "Take Your Daughter to Work Day". The evildoer is described as a grizzled, blue-collar everyman whose family has been torn apart by metahumans, Cicada now seeks to exterminate the epidemic, one metahuman at a time.

Gustin, Patton and TV daughter Jessica Parker Kennedy then detail which insta-parent is most eager to get to know Nora - and which of them, in turn, the speedster from the future is "pumped" to meet.
