Still, here's Stranger Things' Millie Bobby Brown, Vera Farmiga and more mixing it up with giant beasts in Godzilla: King Of The Monsters, which has launched a first trailer in the wake of its San Diego Comic-Con presentation.

Nonetheless, director Michael Dougherty somehow managed to keep the more misanthropic moviegoers at bay recently by teasing the arrival of the three-headed dragon, King Ghidorah.

Now though, we've got something much more meaty to sink our teeth into, as Warner Bros. has formally unveiled the electrifying teaser trailer for King of the Monsters and though it doesn't show us too much, it's a wonderful appetizer for what's to come.

Kyle Chandler, Bradley Whitford, Sally Hawkins and Charles Dance also feature in a trailer which is defintely going all out for scale. When these ancient super-species-thought to be mere myths-rise again, they all vie for supremacy, leaving humanity's very existence hanging in the balance. The film is being produced by Mary Parent, Alex Garcia, Brian Rogers and Thomas Tull, with Barry H. Waldman, Zach Shields, Yoshimitsu Banno and Kenji Okuhira serving as executive producers and Alexandra Mendes co-producing for Legendary. Unfortunately, King of the Monsters won't be out until May 31st, 2019 so like Godzilla himself, we will have to lay in wait to see how it all turns out.

Following the global success of "Godzilla" and "Kong: Skull Island" comes the next chapter in Warner Bros. Entertainment Company, except in Japan, where it will be distributed by Toho Co., Ltd.
