This new trailer for the game starts in 1989 with a bunch of bummed out kids lamenting, uh, I guess the limits of their imagination?

Storm had a troubled childhood and early life, overcoming many hardships to come into her own and develop into one of the most powerful heroes of the Marvel Universe.

This game is developed by Sanzaru Games and is funded by the famous VR Gaming Company Oculus. Keep in mind Powers United, a $39.99 multiplayer Rift-exclusive title, will be published under Oculus' in-house division, Oculus Studios, so it is invested in the game and likely hopes it'll boost system sales. Aside from multiplayer co-op play experience, it'll also have story-driven single-player missions.

Marvel Powers United VR allows players to become their favourite Marvel hero including Spider-Man, Doctor Strange, The Hulk and Wolverine. The game features 18 different Marvel characters as its heroes and has 9 Villains from the same Marvel family.

In just a week, Oculus Rift users will be able to find out what it means to be a superhero with the release of Marvel Powers United VR. Every character will be given a superpower they can use at any point of the game. Pre-orders will begin being accepted from 20th July, 2018. A downloadable version of the game comes for free with the bundle, otherwise costing $40.

Marvel fans will not have to wait long for the Marvel Powers as it was announced that the game will launch next week on July 31.
